(1) The term of office of nominated members of the Council shall be four years.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if a nominated member of the council does not fulfill his official duties, if he does anything contrary to the interest of the council or if he does not behave in accordance with the position, the nominating body or officer may remove such member from office at any time.
(3) According to sub-section (2), before removing him/her from the post, the concerned member shall be given a reasonable opportunity to submit an explanation.
